The Worthington Nursery School follows the philosophy and practice of Dr. Maria Montessori and The Montessori Method. The school is committed to fostering the enjoyment of learning in a carefully planned and stimulating environment. Fundamental habits, skills, attitudes and ideas are developed in the children, a necessity for a lifetime of learning and creative thinking. In a Montessori classroom, each child is recognized and respected for their uniqueness. The Montessori Method of early childhood education is lauded by educators and parents around the world.

The Worthington Nursery School, is a nurturing and supportive environment, offering an intellectually stimulating and challenging program for your child. Located in Westchester, New York on 1 1/2 acres of private land, the school was established because of the need for a quality early childhood education program that was affordable to parents. The Worthington Nursery School follows the Montessori curriculum, serving the Southern Westchester area, including the surrounding towns, villages and hamlets of Greenburgh, Ardsley, White Plains, Hartsdale, New Rochelle, Mount Vernon and Scarsdale. We are NYS Certified in the area of early childhood education, and are committed to meeting the intellectual and emotional needs of each student. The Worthington Nursery School believe that each child is a unique individual and is profoundly capable of amazing things.
